Scratch That! is less of a competitive game (although it certainly can be), and more of a social engagement and connection exercise. As players reveal their answers, their personalities and drawn out and the game becomes more of an opportunity to get to know each other at a deeper level. The more unique your answers, the more your answers may remain “unscratched” but also the more other players can get to know you and the way that you think. Our Creator? (you just might be surprised)
Scratch That! was created by Rachel Litwin, when she was only twelve years old! After playing games during Christmas, she asked if we could play a game with just Christmas words. After playing three rounds and then molding the game (90 minutes of playing) the next day at a Family Christmas gathering, we realized that we had something special on our hands. Rachel’s dad, an entrepreneur, author and designer then sought out to create the most enjoyable level of gameplay while keeping true to Rachel’s original vision. With artistic support from Travis Hanley, and the ambassadorship of David Loeffler, Scratch That! was created for all to enjoy!
